Travel the World Without Leaving Pasadena at Taste of the Town 2026
Taste of the Town is returning on Thursday, November 5, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Pasadena Convention Center and Fairgrounds. This annual event by the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce is a favorite of residents and visitors alike. Attendees can sample food and drinks from local restaurants throughout the community while enjoying live music and entertainment. There are also opportunities to engage with local vendors and participate in a live auction.
This year’s theme is Passport to Flavor, and guests are invited to try a variety of dishes from cuisines from around the world. No passport is needed, just arrive hungry with a sense of adventure!
Doors Open Early for VIP Ticket Holders
General admission to Taste of the Town starts at $30 for adults and $20 for kids ages 6-12. However, Pasadena foodies can purchase VIP tickets for $50 and enter early at 4:00 PM. The busiest hours are between 5:00 and 6:30 PM, so VIP admission lets attendees enjoy a quieter tasting experience and chat with local restaurant owners.
The general program and live auction at Taste of the Town start at 6:00 PM, giving the general public plenty of time to enjoy hearty bites before the fun begins. This event supports the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce while also showcasing the wonderful restaurants and businesses across the community.
After the program ends, continue tasting local dishes and party through the night in Pasadena!
Restaurants Are Bringing New Bites and Signature Dishes
Taste of the Town is popular because it lets people sample dishes from restaurants they haven't tried in the area. A delicious bite of pasta or a sample cup of tiramisu from one restaurant could encourage you to walk through their doors the next time you want to eat out. Taste of the Town also allows restaurants to explore potential menu items and try new things to see what customers think. You might be the first to try a new hot dish at your favorite haunt!
“Taste of the Town is a fun social gathering and a great way to sample bites from local restaurants you haven’t tried before,” says Jo Anne Estrada, Manager of Visit Pasadena. “There’s something new each year as more places open their doors and serve the community.”
