Dear Pasadena Residents & Business Owners,
This isn’t your typical tourism message. It’s a heartfelt thank you from the Visit Pasadena team, an extension of Pasadena EDC, to the backbone of our city: you.
Visit Pasadena was created to be our digital front porch, a welcoming space that highlights local attractions, events, stories, and unique experiences for both residents and visitors. Our hometown pride, community spirit, and dedication are the foundation on which Visit Pasadena continues to grow. Everything we do is built on the heart and hustle of Pasadena’s people, our residents, our business owners, and our neighbors who show up every day. You embody our Big Heart and Bold Fun, bringing life and personality to every corner of our city.
Whether you’ve lived here one month or one hundred years, you are Pasadena’s greatest asset and ambassador. Every time you welcome a guest, recommend a restaurant or shop, or help keep your corner of the community beautiful, you add value to the Pasadena experience. Your actions shape the way others see, feel, and remember our city.
And here’s the truth: only you can continue to make Pasadena a great place to live, work, and play. Community pride is essential. It fuels our progress, strengthens our identity, and keeps us moving boldly forward. Every voice, every effort, every act of kindness or support helps Pasadena Up in ways big and small.
To our dynamic business owners, you are the engine of our local economy and the creative spirit of our streets. Your resilience, vision, and commitment highlight the strength and character of Pasadena. By creating jobs, you create opportunities for our families. By investing locally, you help keep wealth right here at home. By offering unique products and services, you enrich our culture and strengthen Pasadena’s identity. Our shared success grows because of what you offer and the support and hospitality of the residents who make Pasadena feel like home. The two go hand in hand, and I am deeply grateful for that partnership.
Since Visit Pasadena officially launched in August, I have been humbled by the support you’ve shown. Each time you submitted an event, shared a post, or recommended us to a friend, you helped expand our reach and amplify our mission. You’ve helped build something meaningful, and we are just getting started.
I am excited for the projects ahead and grateful for the continued growth we are experiencing together. Thank you for your heart, your energy, and your commitment to making Pasadena even greater than it is today.
With sincere gratitude,
Dr. Jo
